Hack Attack Baseball Pitching Machine
The Hack Attack has a unique three-wheel design allowing your players to see the ball clearly through the feeding motion, just like facing a live pitcher.
With this design, the hitter sees when to stride and the angle of release, which can help them improve their timing, pitch recognition, and confidence at the plate!

Raise and lower your pitches easily with the adjustment handle. With a simple turn, you can even move the pitch up or down within the strike zone between pitches.
- Center the first pitch without having to shift the entire machine (no more kicking of back leg)
- Allow the operator to move the pitch inside or outside with a simple turn of a handle
- In combination with the elevation control, quickly move a pitch to any area of the strike zone between pitches
Hack Attack Baseball Pitching Machine Fungo Work
Instantly pivot the throwing head of the Hack Attack in any direction for all fungo work, including deep fly balls and line drives that will challenge your best players.
Streamline Your Practices
Streamline your practices with less tweaking an almost instant recovery time between pitches!
The Hack Attack pitching machine quickly moves on and off the field by just tilting it, un-socketing the legs and easily rolling it on two heavy-duty transporting wheels (not the throwing wheels).
The front wheel guards insure the throwing wheels never come in contact with the ground.
Best Baseballs For Hack Attack Pitching Machine
The Hack Attack pitching machine is designed for use with regulation leather baseballs, dimpled practice balls, Wiffle® balls and all softer practice balls. (Not synthetic leather balls as they wear quickly and will leave a residue on the wheel.)
No assembly is required; the Hack Attack arrives fully assembled and ready for your immediate use.

Hack Attack FAQ
What is the weight of the Hack Attack broken down?
Without the Hack Attack legs – approx. 145 lbs, including the base. With legs approx 160 lbs. (The base is the part with the rolling wheels that accepts the 3 legs.).
What is the size of the Hack Attack broken down?
With the base – approx. 39” long x 30” wide x 25” tall . Without the base – approx. 30” long x 30” wide x 25” tall.
What type of assembly is necessary upon first receipt of my new Hack Attack and are there any special tools required?
Your new pitching machine will arrive fully assembled and ready for your immediate use. No assembly or special tools are required.
How is the Hack Attack most commonly transported?
Most people take the base and legs off before moving the machine. Two people can easily lift the Hack Attack into a truck or SUV. If it’s too tall to fit, you can take the base off too.
What type of balls will the Hack Attack throw?
You can use 9-inch baseballs made of real leather, pitching machine leather balls, polyurethane pitching machine balls, whiffle balls, or foam balls. But never use fake leather balls because they wear out fast and can leave gunk on the machine’s wheels. Also, don't mix different types of balls when using the machine.
What is the height of the ball release point of the machine, will it fit the cut-out of a L-shaped protective screen?
The release point for the Hack Attack is 52″, fitting standard L-shaped screens. With extended legs (optional accessory) the release point is 73″.
How accurate is this machine?
The Hack Attack has a special three-wheel design, which means the ball is held in three spots (instead of just two like other machines). This gives it great control and accuracy when pitching.
What is the full load operating amps for the Hack Attack?
The Hack Attack draws 1.5 amps when running; however a 20-amp service is recommended for continuous operation.
Can the machine be operated with a generator?
Yes, however the generator must generate “clean electricity”. We recommend a minimum of 1000W up to 2000W Honda generator with inverter technology. Weight of these generators is approximately 27 lbs., similar to the weight of a battery, and they are extremely portable.
What happens if the machine is used with a generator other than one that generates “clean electricity”?
Unless the generator provides “clean electricity”, the power surges from the generator will cause the Hack Attack to surge and become erratic, it will deliver inconsistent pitches. (This phenomenon exists with all pitching machines currently on the market.)
What type of pitches can the Hack Attack deliver?
Any pitch can be delivered, including, but not limited to fastballs, curve balls, sliders, sinkers, breaking pitches, etc.
What is the warranty on the Hack Attack pitching machine?
Sports Attack stands behind the material and workmanship of their machines as well as all wear components (i.e., throwing wheels, controllers, and motors) for a period of two (2) years from the date of original purchase based on the serial number and date codes on the unit.
