Fast pitch changes – Change between most pitches in under 5 seconds. The machine aims automatically. You can choose both the pitch and the target zone.

Random sequences – A new pitch is selected every time a ball is thrown. Hitters won’t know which pitch is next.

​Programmed sequences – Create a pre-defined sequence of pitches to compare hitter performance or simulate a specific at bat.

​Custom pitches with controlled spin rate – Only Spinball machines let you set the ball’s spin rate and direction to simulate any specific pitch or pitcher. You can even group these custom pitches into custom pitchers, so you can practice against the exact pitcher you will be facing in your next game.

​Wireless interface – The machine is controlled over Wi-Fi by an Android tablet with a range of up to 300 ft. Hitters can control the machine from the plate or coaches can control it from behind the backstop.

​Easily upgradable – Upgrading the machine is as easy as downloading the latest version of the app. Spinball will be adding new capabilities, new pitcher definitions, and new defensive drills to the app in the future.

Batting Practice Screen

Select a pitcher and you’re ready for BP. Choose from 16 built-in pitchers or create your own. Each pitcher can throw up to 12 different pitches. Left and right handed factory defined pitchers are available with top speeds from 60-95 mph. All pitch speeds are programmed as a percentage of the pitcher’s fastball, so breaking pitches are thrown at a realistic speed relative to the fastball. For example, a pitcher with a 90 mph fastball will throw a 75 mph curve. Select “random sequence” to change pitches every time a ball is thrown. You can even choose which pitches are included in the sequence by checking or unchecking the boxes next to the pitch buttons. Factory pitches are programmed using real baseballs. The machine will work with dimpled balls, but you may need to adjust the aim for some pitches. You can not mix ball types in a single setup.

Each pitch can be aimed for any of nine zones. We can’t guarantee the pitch will be thrown in the selected zone every time, but the target point moves as selected.

Edit factory supplied pitchers or create your own.   Each pitcher has a repertoire of up to 12 pitches. Create profiles for real or fictional pitchers by simply selecting the pitches from a list. Choose from 140 factory defined pitches or create your own on the Pitch screen (see below). You can create realistic pitchers or specialty ones for specific drills. For example, you can create a pitcher that throws 10 different speed fastballs to concentrate on timing. Or create pitches out of the zone to work on pitch selection. It’s up to you.

New Feature!   Use a Google Sheet to maintain your library of pitchers. The online spreadsheet is linked directly to the app so your changes on the spreadsheet are immediately available for use in the app.

When satisfied, save the pitch to the database. You can always come back and make changes, and those changes will apply wherever that pitch is used. You can use Statcast, Rapsodo or HitTrax data to exactly replicate any pitch.

Order Confirmation: Upon placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This signifies that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase. Upon receiving your order, we automatically check for stock availability. If your item is on back-order or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and contact you via email to explore alternative arrangements. If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days), we will process the charges and start preparing your order for shipment.

Order Shipment: If your order is in stock, and we process the charges to your credit card, it will ship within three business days from the date of your order. We will send you shipping confirmation within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the email address you provided during checkout. If you do not receive shipping confirmation from us within four business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at support@thepitchingmachinecompany.com.

Damages: Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) upon arrival. If you notice any damage, make a note of it when signing for delivery or do not agree to accept the delivery. If you accept delivery, immediately take photos using your smartphone or camera of the damaged packaging or products inside. If your item(s) arrive damaged, please send photos to support@thepitchingmachinecompany.com, then visit our Returns page and submit your return claim online.

While we wholeheartedly stand behind the quality of every product we offer, we understand that circumstances may lead you to reconsider your purchase or find it not entirely fitting for your needs. To facilitate a seamless process, we have implemented a 30 Day Return Policy.

If, within 30 days of receiving your order, you decide to initiate a return for any reason, kindly contact us at support@thepitchingmachinecompany.com with your order number. We will promptly provide you with detailed instructions for processing the return. 


Upon receipt and inspection of the returned item(s) at our warehouse(s), we will send you an email notification confirming the completion of your return payment process.

It is crucial to note that for a refund to be issued, the returned item(s) must reach our distribution center in "Like New" condition, inclusive of all original packaging and accessories. "Like New" implies that the items show no visible signs of wear. Returns bearing visual indications of wear or issues arising from use will not be accepted, and no refund will be provided.

Damages:
If your product arrives damaged, kindly note it immediately upon delivery and send photos to support@thepitchingmachinecompany.com on the same day. The Pitching Machine Company will cover the shipping costs for defective, damaged, or incorrectly shipped merchandise.

Please retain all original packaging for items requiring return. Prior authorization from our customer service department is mandatory for all returns to be processed efficiently. We are committed to ensuring you receive an undamaged product as soon as possible. However, items damaged after use are non-refundable unless explicitly covered under warranty.

Cancellations:
To cancel an order, promptly email or call our customer service team at support@thepitchingmachinecompany.com. Orders canceled before shipment will receive a full refund.
